Classically, health is understood as the body’s innate capacity to regulate, adapt, and recover in relationship with its environment. Many people seek care not because something is “broken,” but because they sense they are no longer functioning at their best. My practice is focused on helping people feel their best at this moment, whatever that may be.

Whether you are dealing with pain, stress, digestive concerns, or another condition, care begins with understanding how your system is responding as a whole. Treatments are individualized and may include acupuncture, moxibustion, ki therapy, manual therapy, and related methods. The aim is steady change over time.

Drawing from classical Chinese and traditional Japanese approaches, I use a small set of methods, applied selectively and in combination based on assessment. These are not separate services, but tools used within a single treatment strategy. Acupuncture, moxibustion, and ki therapy form the core of the work. Manual therapy and cupping are used when they support the treatment plan.

Each visit begins with an assessment of your current condition. I ask questions, read the face, pulse, tongue, abdomen, channels, tissue, and ki, and look for patterns related to your chief complaint. I then craft the treatment based on this information. Progress is usually steady and cumulative over time.
